Parish of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God in Chișinău
A Greek Catholic parish in the heart of Chișinău — a place of prayer, fellowship and service
Our Greek Catholic parish is a place of prayer, liturgical life, spiritual care and fraternal community. The faithful gather here for the Divine Liturgy, common prayer, catechesis, meetings and service to others.
The parish strives to be a living spiritual home for adults, children, youth and families — uniting Church tradition, pastoral openness and love for every person. We profess the Catholic faith in the Byzantine rite, preserving the rich liturgical heritage of the Kyivan Church.
The parish is actively engaged in catechetical formation, spiritual accompaniment, ecumenical dialogue and social outreach.
Fr. Igor Plevschi leads the parish community, celebrates the Divine Liturgy and other services, provides spiritual accompaniment to the faithful, conducts catechesis and pastoral ministry.
Under his leadership the parish has become an open and vibrant community where every person can find spiritual support, fraternal welcome and a place for prayer.
